See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. I researched this medication throughly before starting it, and i recommended it to my endocrinologist. this medication has both T4 (commonly found in synthetics) and T3 (also in synthetic form but not often perscribed) as well as T1 and T2 which are not manufactured yet as we do not know what their role is and it is believed then that they must not be significant. I would rather take one medication that provides all of the same hormones my body should be producing but isnt.

This pill is absolutely horrible. Everything that could possibly go wrong with side effects went wrong plus 500. I had severe depressive episodes and emotional meltdowns. I gained 15 pounds. Since I've been off of it I am back to myself again.
