Terrible drug. I always felt like I was going to faint. Made it almost impossible to drive a car or function at work. Fell quite a few times due to dizziness. I would not recommend this drug. I never had high blood pressure to begin with, not sure why the Dr insisted that I take this drug. It was 120/70 which I always thought was normal. I take a lot of other medications so i'm not sure if it makes me have all of the side effects, but my cholesterol is not as high so it must be working!

THIS DRUG PERMANENTLY CASTRATED ME. I took 10 mg a day for 5 weeks and lost all sexual function. It has been a year after discontinuation and I have not regained my libido, arousal, desire. Am completely asexual. I am not taking any drugs and have not taken any before in my life. Will most likely commit suicide. THANKS LUNDBECK! I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!!

When I began to use cymbalta I noticed dizziness, rapid heartbeat, increased bloodpressure, however fibro pain seemed quite improved as well as energy. Difficult to sleep. I deal with long term chronic pain (1980) fibro diagnosis, arthritis, lymphedema & lipidema. I wanted to "believe". Became Zombie like. Memory loss severe as well as cognitive abilities. Fascinating side effect! Did you talk to your doctor about it? A study last year did find that cytomegalovirus (CMV), a very common viral infection that affects nearly everyone by the age of 40, does in fact cause high blood pressure in some lab mice, especially in conjunction with a high cholesterol diet.
