After my two surgeries (few years apart) I received Vicodin on both occasions and yes, it did take away a great majority of the pain, however, i was puking nonstop due to the nausea that my doc only advised me to take if absolutely necessary since I was so sick due to it. I didn't really notice much of a difference once on paxil. However, the side effects were noticeable. My sex drive significantly decreased to a point where I decided to stop taking paxil.

I have taken Ibuprofen periodically to help deal with pain, particularly in my lower back due to an injury and an occasionally for headaches. For the most part, it has worked. It has relieved pain to some degree and has made such pain more bearable. I have never experienced any negative side effects while using Ibuprofen, and really have not suffered from any type of side effect while taking this drug.

Ive been on this medication ever since I got diabetes, it has never given me any problems. I take 30 units in the morning and 15 units in the afternoon. And I have no complaints with this insulin shot.

I wish there was an alternative to this medication that worked as well. The yeast infections are unbearable, and the interaction with birth control (making it uneffective) is annoying.
