I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. After taking it for 6 months, I have seen an effective stop to my hair loss, and an increase in the density of my hair in the front. New vellous (small/white) hairs are popping up around my scalp, and some of them continue to darken. Claritin actually stops most of my sneezing and watery eyes. I can count on it through the whole day because I know i can go on without my allergies bothering me.

Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.

Adderall did what it supposed to do. It kept me up for 48 hours straight. However, there was a consequent. After taking this med I noticed that my heart beat was abnormal. My blood pressure was very high and my emotional well-being changed. I was happier. This med also affect my motor skill. When I took this med I noticed that at times my hands were shaking.
