I took Amoxicillin for an ear infection and I ended up in the hospital for a sever allergic reaction. This antibiotic was too strong for me.

How can I tell of I have side effects from Tobrex or just experiencing an eye allergy? Since I started using the generic version,tobramycin ophthalmic, I have developed some itching in my eye, but I also work in a congested shop floor with a lot of allergens and toxins, so I wasn't sure if these are drug side effects or not. The drug warning label is of little help.

Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! Asthma after many years has become manageable and barely even there, but with the occasional upper respiratory infection, it takes something extra to knock it out. Advair does that, but I wish it came in some other form.
