I had not taken Midol for a long time, maybe since I was about 25, so it has been over 20 years. I was cramping so bad however that I decided to try it again thinking maybe I would not experience the side effects- dizziness, feeling intoxicated. I will not take it again unless I know I can just go right to bed because I still had the side effects, but it did make the pain go away.

Turmeric is a common South Asian spice found in the kitchen of many Indian homes (making it very accessible). I used Tolperisone as an alternative to Limptar in preventing leg muscle cramps. Tolperisone had the additional benefit of allowing me to do some creative re- search, realizing that both exercise and coffee would be necessary to keep my brain and body functioning for more than about 30 minutes. I haven't been taking Yaz for too long but it has so far been effective. The only side effect that I've experienced is a change in my sex drive but I guess that's inevitable. I am very satisfied with this medication.

More energy than when using Advair with less cramps. Not on long enough to compare weight gain which was evident with Advair. Am considering other options due to mood swings and severe headaches (last half a day) from this drug. Lungs feel great, but other side effects seem to make this a poor choice.
