i have been on ortho tri cyclen for about a year and a half now...i was put on it because of its low hormones. other pills were making me feel sick because of the amount of hormones in them. ever since ive been on ortho tri cyclen, i develop yeast infections every 2-3 months. i am in and out of the gynocologist atleast 5 times a year for yeast infections. they are also hard to treat...OTC creams and diflucan prescriptions wont fully clear them. ortho tri cyclen is also ruining my sex life! i... I suffered Panic Attacks, Depression, Anxiety, Heart Palpitations, ans convulsions while using microgestin for 5 years. I lived in a state of shock all day every day. I was in and out of emergancy rooms and doctors offices. I did not know that microgestin was causing all of my symptoms until I stopped taking it 4 months ago. None of the doctors put 2 and 2 together. Within a week of stopping the pill, I felt like a completely different person. I love my new life.

I make an anti-fungal salve for my mother using olive oil infused with black walnut husks. She has suffered with foot fungus all her life and had very LITTLE relief from her doctor's prescriptions. This is the only thing that helps her. I also add a few drops Manuka essential oil to the salve.

I am so sorry for you side effects, but I must say I was happy to read your post!! I have Graves disease and had radio active therapy 10 years ago and have been on levoxyl for many years with no problems until now. I recently have been experiencing trembling of my arms, torso, and legs, pretty frequently but I only usually notice it at night. When taking this blood pressure medication I often have to check if my blood pressure is under 110 of so my doctor doesn't not want me to take it for that day
