I experienced a Pulmonary Embolism in my right lung. While at the hospital, the histology department ran 5 tests on me to see if I have a genetic condition. It turns out I have a condition called Lupus Anticoagulant, which naturally thickens my blood. I will have to on Wafarin Sodium for the rest of my life, and I have to have my INR level checked every three weeks to make sure it isn't too thick or too thin.

I was prescribed this for a recent injury. I find myself enjoying them far more than I probably should. The fear of addiction is overwhelming. I have tried to take them only when I feel I absolutely have to.

prescribed for compound fracture of left radius and ulna...caused severe nausea...discontinued use...started using as a pain killer before endurance sport training...far too addictive to continue...threw away remainder of prescription

DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. In a study of 11,813 girls receiving the Gardasil vaccine, 2 developed rheumatoid arthritis, 5 developed arthritis, 1 developed reactive arthritis, and 1 developed juvenile arthritis. In the control group of similarly-aged young girls, all of whom received placebo shots also containing aluminum , 1 recipient developed lupus and 2 developed arthritis.
