Very pleased with the med. I fought depression for many years and took Prozac which help considerably. I began to develop dysphoria. I found no enjoyment from anything so weekends and nights were very boring and I started drinking to kill the boredom. My doctor started me on Aplenzin. ive been using this drug for 4 years and find it very effective. the only problem is-once i try and go without, my skin totally breaks down. then once i start again it clears up!!!

This drug makes me sleepy, drowsy and tired, right after I take it. And I usually take it after breakfast. I was taking one tablet before, and I went to the doctor to told him about the side effects of the drug. He advised me to rest for about 10-15 minutes after breakfast. My fifteen year old daughter a perfectly healthy young girl ,experienced temporary paralysis less than 3 hours after first shot taken along with a miningitis vaccine. A lot of random side effects that one taking prednisone should look into. Weight gain and an increase in appetite is a major one. My weight really fluxuate while on prednisone and due to severe asthma I can not regullarly excercise to keep the weight off.
