Vyvanse helps me concentrate. I feel like I can stay focused on my homework and class work. It doesn’t give me a bad feeling once I feel that it is wearying off. It works very well for me. Overall I feel very good and positive when I take it. If I don't take it I get frustrated while I do my school work. I would recommend it to others who have ADHD or ADD.

Lolav, I find that for sleep the alternative therapies work better and with less side effects then the pharmaceutical approach. I suggest you check with a health food store to see what they recommend. Valerian is good and so is just plain old hot milk before bed. There are stronger Ayurvedic or Chinese herbs that you can Google- some are common and some you have to go to India for. Medrol has been the one prescription that seems to help right away. The up side to this drug is it takes away the pain the inflammation makes and gives me energy. The down side is the potential side effects can be very bad.

I experienced a Pulmonary Embolism in my right lung. While at the hospital, the histology department ran 5 tests on me to see if I have a genetic condition. It turns out I have a condition called Lupus Anticoagulant, which naturally thickens my blood. I will have to on Wafarin Sodium for the rest of my life, and I have to have my INR level checked every three weeks to make sure it isn't too thick or too thin.

I had to take Hydrocodone when I got into a car wreck and an airbag damaged my right eye. When I was taking them, I had a hard time remembering what was going on. They also made me extremely drowsy a lot of the time. My dosage was somewhat high however.
