Works very well for my panic disorder. I can take it in the middle of the day if anxious, avoid a panic attack, and continue on with my day. I've been taking Xanax for about 10 years now and it's still as eefective as it was when I started taking it. I can go days without taking any if I have little or no anxiety. As it wears off I do notice I get a little grumpy, that part doesn't feel real good. Overall it helps my quality of life greatly.

I take 2g per day for pseudotumor cerebri, so I know that is a lot. Diamox has helped my high pressure headaches and helped keep most of the PTC symptoms at bay, however, it does have some issues of its own. Before I began taking a potassium supplement, my energy level was greatly decreased, my blood pressure was EXTREMELY low (about 86/50) on a regular basis and I would experience leg cramps as well as stabbing pains in both my feet and my hands. I am not crazy, I am on the wrong form of birth control for me. I have gained 30+ pounds and have NO sex drive. I am not interested in anything, and I am fat. That being said, I am not pregnant which is the whole point of the IUD. I am taking it out next week and going back on the pill; a new baby is easier to handle than anymore weight gain.
