It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. My doctor has had me try several different medicines for Bi-Polar disorder. We settled on Depakote because it seemed to do an adequate job with fewer side effects than the other medicines. It seems that since I have been taking it, I have started having more side effects. I have extreme hair loss (although it does grow back) and kidney pain. I have a constant fatigue. It has not made me feel better or "normal".

my main problem i am putting on so much weight not eating any more than befor but am putting on about 3lb per week very shortly will have no clothes that will fit cant really afford to buy a lot of new ones

I started this pill two months ago.. I began with having hot flashes at night, constant urge to urinate as well. About three weeks ago I started feeling numbness in my arms, and hands. I started breaking out around the mouth area, headaches, and a lot of bloating..I really began feeling like I was pregnant with bloating, nausea, and tiredness.. Currently waiting on my doctor to call me back to see if I should stop taking it..
