Trileptal has been overall a life changing drug for me. I have had the occasional breakthrough seizure while on the medication, but not nearly as many as I had before I started taking it. I am very satisfied with trileptal.

I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. I have also been experiencing an unusual amount of acne breakouts and irregular periods. I used to have a clockwork 28 day cycle, now my period will be MIA for 30 days at a time, every 2-3 months. This birth control has been effective in preventing pregnancy, but has not completely alleviated my menstrual cramps. I like that I can take this medication continually without spotting or menstruating and that it has a low dosage of hormones.

I used to take diovan and tenoretic - switched to tenoretic and benicar - I experienced extreme hair loss and gout. plus diovan was expensive. Decided to try benicar but seems worse. Lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry stool, gout. Don't know what else until I get results from my check-up. I just don't feel right.
