Severe hypertension from childhood. Medicated since 1963. Anaphalactic shock due to medication in 1996 resulted in medication change to Micardis HCT. Five years ago, dosage reduced by half due to excellent control. Now 77 years old, very healthy, active, walk 4 miles per day in 70 minutes. Least amount of side effects of any medication I have taken in 47 years.

Solodyn has been and still is terrible to me the last two weeks. I only took it 3weeks. I was not taking any other meds. No one could tell me why i was sick. 3 different doctors so many test. fever,chills,sweats,enlarged liver,fatigue, not eating, terrible itchy rashes. Did not think it was the solodyn at first because i believed i would have had a reaction to the first week of taking it. I just found out two days ago that it is the solodyn. I received the gardasil shot about a year ago and now I have been diagnosed with high risk HPV. I am due to go see a gyno. next week and I am scared....I was never diagnosed with HPV only now a year later after getting the shot. Also, I have read that if you were already exposed to HPV prior to receiving the gardasil shot it increases chances of cervical cancer...why wouldn't my doctor tell me this?

No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. Once started on this drug condition settled really quickly and cleared within six weeks. GP prescribed drug for a few months afterwards to ensure condition had settled. I have not found this medicine very satisfying and infact with the high-risks attached to it, with all its drawbacks, such as the persistent coughing, weight loss, headaches, joint & muscle pain, I am truly concerned as to what the devil is the "up- side" to this supposed RA disigner drug after all is said & done.
