Was on Ortho tri Cyclen Lo before my pharmacy and insurance company switched me to this generic brand. I experienced a serious decrease in sex drive, which continues to this day. Besides that, the price is much better, and my menstraul cycles are scheduled to the day and time. I did not notice any significant weight gain or loss from this pill. It's worth trying, but if your libido changes as mine did, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Have tried just about everything else and would have some noticeable side effect(s) always going back to Prozac. Tried those other drugs not because Proz didn't work but as new ones came on market and heard positive comments, gave them a try. Only noticeable side-effect has been an exact 5 lb gain each time I restart it after a break. HOWEVER, I never take mo... View full comment

I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.

After taking allergy shots for years, I decided to try Zyrtec. It is a lifesaver. I don't have to have three shots a week anymore, and haven't had to have any for over four years.

I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin...
