The first two months of taking this product worked really well for me and then the 3rd month is when things went downhill...i had breakthrough bleeding and was bleeding almost the whole month, my face broke out in acne, i had severe breast tenderness and strong cramps in the area of my ovaries...i stopped taking this birth control and im now on a new one.

I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better. Indocin has been a miracle drug for me. It was first prescribed during a severe episode of bursitis over 20 years ago after numerous other prescriptions had failed. For years I took it on an "as needed" basis. Hey, I am starting to think about the side-effects of Depakine in the long term - the slowdown of brain fucntion, hair-loss, later kidney and liver demage and concentration. I am only 28 now, was 25 at the first episode. And I am really aware of the long-term slowdown of the brain.

I've been on Pristiq since the end of March. The negatives..the nausea was a beast the first few weeks but not intolerable. I don't sleep as well at night but its not to the point of insommnia. The positive, I am much more even, not nearly as irritable, etc. Still have some anxiety but its also better. I have lost over 10 lbs.
