I took seasonique for about 6 months and I just went off of it. I've almost completely lost my sex drive which sucks! Other than that when I did get my period once every 3 months it was awful, I had terrible cramps/headaches, and the first few days were so heavy I bled through tampons on multiple occasions! This medication has been VERY effective in diminishing my stone frequency. I have not been in significant pain since i started the prescription, so I have been very pleased. I have been on it for over a month now, and I am still having the stomach problems that I had in the beginning, but now I notice that I am bruising easily, often, and quite severely. Got me out of severe depressive episode, but still experience afternoon depression sometimes. Don't like side effects either - cold all the time, OCD/paranoia/racing thoughts 2 hours before time for next dosage, extremely drowsy all day if take medicine in morning (have now switched to taking it at night). Because of afternoon depression, am also switching to new antidepressant to take with Geodon.

Taking diamox for IIH. Along with the diamox and losing weight, my eye pressure has gone down and my field vision is better, still have a blurry spot in vision due to nerve damage. Swollen eye disc has reduced and no hemmoraging now in optic nerves. I was switched to Othro Tri-Cyclen after complaining of headaches from my other perscription birth control, it has helped decrease these adverse affects, but it has not helped with cramping pain (as they say it will).
