I have had the Mirena for well over 6 or 7 years (I'm on my second one). During this time, my acne has been difficult to control - especially on my back and chest. In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens. Doctors seem to hand this stuff out like candy to kids. When my kid started with asthma we went alternative and got her off the drugs ASAP--I really regret getting hooked on Ventolin all those years ago. My daughter is fine now--no symptoms at all. Her doctor was really thrilled and really surprised. She was off meds in 3 months after being really bad, and with a family history...I was lucky he was supportive; most docs aren't.

I honestly feel that this med is for someone who has a chemical imbalance , but if mis diognosed you can be in serious problems I usto take it just because my dr said here try this sample ones and i did and it drove me even more crazy with suicidal thoughts now i have a foggy ming and short term memmory problem where i usto be able to suck everything in and I clearly remember that one day taking cymbalta like if someone has turned off a switch in my brain im 33 and cant remember what i ate ye...
