When I first started Effexor (at 37.5mg), it was like a Godsend. I felt immediately like things were going to change with my life. I started taking Xopenex after taking proair when they moved away from using aerosole inhalers. It works better than proair but not as effective as the old albuterol.

I found it to be the cleanest drug for mental health. Weight gain is slight . Its more wanting to eat than gaining the weight so discipline is good. I have just been on abilify and thought it to be notorious. Absolutely terrible, for me. I have gone back to Amisulpride. Even though i am male i lactate on this drug. Also have breast enlargement and sexual dysfunction. This may sound bad, but it is better than the torture of paranoia. Its a fantastic drug as long as you are consistent with it.
