It worked well at first but I am having a rebound effect of heartburn now. I need to see thdoctor. I have read recently that keeping your stomach acid down can contribute to other bacteria building up in the stomach.

Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern. From the first day I tried it, i had sharp pain in my nose. I tried to spray it in my nose in many different ways so that it wouldnt cause pain, like slightly away from my nose or inside my nose but spraying slowly. Nothing helped or made it better. So not only did I still have allergies, but I had tremendous pressure and pain in my nose.
