I'm 33 I have been on birth control pills since I was 18, I've been on so many different kinds I can't even count anymore....I've been on Junel for 2 months now, I feel like a lunatic, I cried hysterically over traffic!! It is now 1:40 am and I cannot get to sleep after taking Mucinex DM. I went to bed at 9:00pm. It is making me feel jittery and like another person who posted in November I can understand how they would feel anxious. I am also dehydrated. I will not be taking this medication again. I think I would get more sleep if I just coughed through the night.

Mucinex works really well when you drink enough water. When you don't hydrate enough, it doesn't work at all, and it makes you very dehydrated. This causes dizziness, dryness, and headache.
