I get slightly flushed with Niaspam, but I take it with a baby aspirin and only when I'm going to bed. Some slight itching occurs, but I usually get to sleep fine anyway.

I've taken a number of anti-depressents and celexa has had the fewest side-effects and works very well. However, lately I have been having trouble with anxiety attacks. They are severe enough to wake me at night and to also keep me home while I am trying to work through them. This is a new experience only in the last year. I will be looking into it.

Remeron has been a wonderful drug for me. It has relatively few side effects, and they are much more tolerable than the SSRIs. I do have daytime drowsiness and increased appetite, AND I feel impatient and a bit angry sometimes. But all in all i have a better outlook on life since starting, am sleeping better and happier overall.

I only take this right before bed because I know that it makes me extremely sleepy. When I wake up in the morning though, my allergy symptoms are mostly gone. My nose is cleared out, I can breathe freely, and my eyes don't water. It is worth the sleepy feeling to be able to walk outside without sneezing and sniffling.

I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. After taking Claritan for years, I am very impressed with the reaction time of the drug. I was very happy to see that all of my allergy symptoms have been addressed in such a very tiny pill and in such a fast amount of time
