after reading several difffernt sites about the side effects of femcon, i think i have an explanation for my extreme nausea, sudden blurred vison, joint pain, ridiculous weight gain and digestion problems. however, i just saw my obgyn last week, told her of these issues and no connection (except the weight) was made to femcon. also, i am a runner and since starting on the femcon i have had an acute problem with joint pain and fatigue durring my runs, thus causing me to run at a slower pace... I had been having a hard time breathing for a few months and, knowing that I had asthma, I decided to get a refill on my inhaler. ProAir HFA helped me finally catch my breath and I've been sleeping much easier and waking up feeling more rested. I also have the energy to get things done and I am no longer out of breath when going up a flight of stairs.

Ditto the previous comment also submitted today. Started Prozac (then generic) on and off since it hit the market in the mid-80's. Have tried just about everything else and would have some noticeable side effect(s) always going back to Prozac. Tried those other drugs not because Proz didn't work but as new ones came on market and heard positive comments, gave them a try. I have been taking Fosamax for 4 years. The side effects have gotten worse the last two. I do have an irregular heart beat (Supra VT) that has also gotten worse. My last bone density test shows the results to be very minimal if at all.
