Etodolac is the 4th anti-inflammatory I have tried, and it has worked the best for me. I don't like the anxious feeling I get from time to time after taking it, but I check my blood pressure and it is fine. I wish I didn't have to take 1000 mg a day of this drug, but it has helped the stiffness and pain a lot. I have been told there are a lot of drugs like this, and a person just needs to find the one that works the best for them.

I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. I think I'm allergic to codeine. It makes me nauseous. I guess it works for pain, but the side effects outweigh the benefits

Relieves my symptoms from sinusitis quickly; the size of the tablets are inconvenient but it's my second choice after Benadryl for relieving for cold/sinus symptoms

I have been taking this as needed for years and have never really had a problem. In fact, as one poster said, I actually had really interesting, vivid dreams when I took it. However, I've lately been getting severe restless arms/legs. It came on suddenly, perhaps because I was using Advil PM too much, and is so severe I can't lie in bed, let alone sleep.
