I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. When taking this blood pressure medication I often have to check if my blood pressure is under 110 of so my doctor doesn't not want me to take it for that day

Before I started, my cramps were unbearable, I missed school because of it. I went to the doctor about it and they told me about this pill and I began taking it. I have no more cramps and it's really nice not having to worry about your period. It comes every three months and you control when your period happens.

Cymbalta certainly does the job. Have had very little side effects from it at all. I am taking it to control my panic attacks. I did go through a period where my doctors office switched doctors and I couldn't get my perscription refilled for almost 5 days until they got it together. I was fine the first two days but the third through fifth day I was having dizzy spells and anxiety attacks from not taking it.
