I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier. I get extremely hot and sweat even while doing mild tasks, its irritating but i could deal with it, to get rid of the pain. recently my sense of smell and taste have gotten very weird i cant be around anything without getting sick to my stomache and or wondering has that always smelt that way. etc.. and i have had an upset stomach through out use of the product

Tylenol works fine for my pain relief, but it seems to take longer to feel the relief than Advil. I prefer aspirin for pain relief from headaches because it works quicker.

I really like this medication, but my only complaint is the price. I really like that I don't have to remember to use it every day, and that it has no side effects except an improved skin complexion.

after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. My sugars have been down significantly, staying between 90 and 100 in the mornings without it....
