It is now 1:40 am and I cannot get to sleep after taking Mucinex DM. I went to bed at 9:00pm. It is making me feel jittery and like another person who posted in November I can understand how they would feel anxious. I am also dehydrated. I will not be taking this medication again. I think I would get more sleep if I just coughed through the night.

I've been using this drug for about 8 months now. I've always had headaches and I'm a naturally a sleepy person, but I recently slept for 15 hours straight and only woke up because of my birth control alarm. i i rarely had to use my old rescue inhaler maybe once a week sometimes less and it was cheap now im paying $30 for proair and im using it everyday i feel like it making my asthma worse maybe thats what the makers want so they can get richer quicker also it gets clogged up seems like it runs out faster im not sure what to do i dont even think theres other options for rescue inhalers? thats scary

Overall, my experience with Proventil inhaler has been a positive one. It provides me with rapid relief of my asthma related breathing difficulty. My only complaint is the tendency to feel jittery/restless after using the inhaler. This side effect makes me reluctant to use Proventil at bedtime or near the hour of sleep.
