I have been coughing frequently and violently for approximately 10 years now. I used Flovent for several years and it has not stopped my cough at all. IAt my insestence I was recently given samples of Advair 250mcg from my pulmonologist. He did not believe it would stop my coughing. I just want to underline how great that product is for me. I have been using it for 3 years now (I am Canadian) on my elbows and knee joints, and love it. I can play softball again without any pain.
