I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid. Once a month I have experienced in both eyes what my eye doctor calls a migraine with aura without any pain. It is like small fans turning in my peripheral vision, but my center vision is clear. This will last 15 to 20 minutes. I am 73 years old and am taking OMEPRAZOLE. Two months ago I stopped taking Omeprazole for six weeks. The vision problem also stopped. When I resumed taking Omeprazole the vision problem returned. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Works well. The only side effect is that my appetite has increased considerably. I have become obsessed with food since starting on Crestor. I am left with the choice of either increasing daily exercise (which I already do considerably jogging 4 miles a day) or accepting the discomfort as I ignore my frequent hunger pangs. If I give in to my appetite my weight increases in spite of jogging 28 miles a week.
