As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. After Marax, was Theophylline and I was not introduced to inhalers until probably the late 80s or 90s. In the late 80s I went to an ENT, who recommended I take Sudafed for sinus drip. I feel the more I use Flonase the more I need it. I like this product because it makes me feel better right away and clears my allergies whenever I use it. Flonase is faily inexpensive and I feel I'm getting as rapid relief as I'm paying for.

You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.
