I developed a skin rash that I went to my Dr about they did not think it was from the medication. It was round patches all over my chest and stomach and a couple around my eyes. The Dr. gave me Atenolol for because I had high blood pressure. Ever since I started taking it i have had tingling in my arms and fingers. My hands also become swollen at night and I can't take off my rings in the morning.

I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. Benadryl is my first choice when I have an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to seafood, I take a capsul before I eat seafood and I don't even up with a rash.
