I should have read up on all the potential side effects but I was unsure which medicine I would get due to my insurance. I'm taking Quasense because I have servere PMS for 3 wks including during my cycle, so bad I can barely function due to the emotional/anxiety/fatigue issues so my doctor thought this would help so at least I only get the symptons every few months. I switched from Depo Provera (the shot) to Seasonique. I started my pills on a Tuesday. By Saturday I started feeling lightheaded, Sunday I was feeling dizzy, lightheaded, and started having problems with my vision. Monday was horrible I don't know if I was nauseous from the bc or because of my double vision and dizziness. Advil is a great OTC medicine for minor pains like headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It has been effective for me while not producing any negative side effects. However, it may not work as well on more stronger and long-term pains.

Everyone responds differently to medications. Cymbalta has done wonders for me, and is the most tolerable medicine I've ever taken. There are absolutely no lasting effects of Cymbalta once you stop taking it by the way. It sounds like you have some other issues causing these problems, not the medicine.
