No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. I've been on it for just over a month. For the past 2-3 weeks I haven't been able to sleep through the night. I sleep for about 4-5 hours, then wake up repeatedly for the rest of the night (~5-12 times each night, so far) on my placebo week I had 2 very intense nightmares, the first about my boyfriend dying & the second about accidentally killing my cat. Since I have been taking Celexa for 13 years, I have noticed that when I do not take it, it creates a whole new being that is NOT nice to deal with in me!!! I mean I notice almost immediately that I have gruffer reactions, am short with people and have no patience and no tolerance. I get very angry, which is not something I normally have issues with. Sldo, og recent, I have noticed that I have become crowd phobic when I do not take my Celexa. I have urges to get away from crowds.
