I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. When I switched to Microgestin I started getting extreme dry mouth, especially at night time when laying down. A lot of random side effects that one taking prednisone should look into. Weight gain and an increase in appetite is a major one. My weight really fluxuate while on prednisone and due to severe asthma I can not regullarly excercise to keep the weight off.
