I use Aleve occasionally for general aches and pains. It is effective as a muscle relaxer, especially after running and excercising. I have never had a side effect from using Aleve.

I was taking it to assist with weight loss and took it for about 45 days or more until I noticed the side effects of constipation (which I do not normally have) and gas. I have stopped taking it about 4 days ago, once I researched the side effects. I was trying to determine why I was having the abdominal problems. It is not painfull constipation but very infrequent. However my appetite was decreasing while taking the 5HTP. I am now trying to get it oujt of my system.

I come from a very allergic background, and I've tried other medications but I feel like Benadryl is the most efficient and gives me the fastest relief. The downside is that I do get very drowsy when I take it.

Worst drug I've ever been on. Doctor won't change it and I'm always sick as a dog. I wouldn't recommend this drug to my worst enemy. No one should have to feel like this all the time. I'd rather just deal with the diabetes than have to be nauseated all the time.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... This is a great drug that actually helps you focus,listen,pay attention, and actually calms hyperactivity. BUT it also makes me feel depressed and feel as if I am not myself by holding the real me back with pills. I try to enjoy myself with friends after taking this medicine but to no avail because I am so calm and always sad.
