I really appreciate this medication. It works really good, and it regulates my blood pressure very well. I feel more confident, personally, emotionally. I didn't experience any physical changes, but emotionally I feel better.

My original dose of 150 mg 2 times a day was too strong. Drowziness followed into the mid-day making my morning dose absolete. It did help my pain but prevented normal routines. I had to ease into and work up to the original dosage by starting with 50 mg 2 times a day. It is a better overall balance for me.

Dear Friends, I came across this website while doing a yahoo search on simvastatin. Am glad to know, am not alone. I am 42, i was prescribed to take simvastatin for blood pressure on 17 Dec along with other drugs clopidogrel and omeprazole after my ct scan for heart chest pain. My ct scan came clean. I take depakote ER everyday. It takes the edge of the pain, but dosen't keep it away. Tried to quit, but the side effects are terrible( fatigue,nausea, dizziness,extreme headaches).

I have been having more problems with Armour, and been wanting to try it; because I never felt that great on Synthroid and the generic brand. They removed my thyroid and my ranges our high for me. Since, I have been taking this Armour, I am jumpy, high puslse,very high blood pressure on and off tthrough out the day,palpitations,depressed, tired.
