I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. I took this after my wisdom teeth were taken out so they were really helpful. But when I did take them, I constantly slept and ate nothing so the lack of energy made me dizzy, and I had two fainting/vomiting spells.

The first night I took Tizanidine, I was very drowsy and dizzy as if I were in a drunken stupor. I could not function at normal speeds and could not even stay awake to read a paper. Every night after the first night, I was fine!

I have only been taking Aviane for a little over a month, since taking the pill I have experienced nothing but anger, acne and what seems to be my period for a steady 3 weeks... I would not recommend this pill what so ever to anyone.

cranberry extract supplement helps with the uti symptoms. awake every morning with headache and joint pain; take ibu fr that and it seems to help. upset stomach, unfortunately feel increased sex drive. overall mood improvement ;tho valleys still exist.

I like Low-Ogestrel because I think it is a milder form of birth control, but I did gain about 5 pounds right away, and the weight has been difficult to lose. I am not completely satisfied.

So far so good. It is a very easy drug to take. Doesnt cause any nausea/vomiting for me. I like the fact that I have to take it well before eating anything for the day and that I have to take it with a lot of water. This helps me take in a lot of water in the beginning of the day. I dislike that I have to take this for the rest of my life or else my symptoms would come back. But then again, of all drugs, this one is very mild and I have not had any adverse reactions since taking it. So better... View full comment
