Hello, I am so so sorry to hear your affected so badly by this drug. Have you asked to be put on another similar drug which may not give you so many side affects. I take a vick sinus spray which helps my cough a little. Take care x Kath

I've tried them all! With reservations, I purchased Herplex and was humbled! It was the first medication to actually prevent cold sores from oozing open. Puzzled as to why I could no longer find it at Wal-Mart, I found this site and discovered it is no longer available. What a disappointment. I wish I had a dollar for every time I suggested Herplex to someone.

vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. If I don't have atleast 10 hour sleep at night after taking Minipress XL 2.5 mg, then I don't get strength on my feet to move around coupled with slight head imbalance making the total feeling uncomfortable. Moreover, since the time I have started taking this medicine my eyesight power has gone up considerably.
