after 3 surgeries due to a ruptured disc which didn't work, including the installation of neurostimulator, I had been put on about evry possible pain med. I disliked the side effects of Oxycontin,Vicodin and Percocet and thought I was screwed but after moving and going to a new Dr. who put me on Opana ER I was finally able to find relief and cut down on the number of pills I had to take avery day as well as eliminating the Tylenol which is bad for your liver. was on lipitor for 27mos. befor developing rhabdomyolsis . had a cpk reading of 14,000 and unconcious . was hospitalized for 10 days and released w/cpk of 7500 . after treatment including 5 doctors at mayo clinic cpk was reduced to about 700 about 12 mos. into treatment . and then cpk began to crawl back up now 10 mos. later is at 2900 . have myopathy,periphael neuropathy,rheumatoid arthritis,tininitus,droopy left eye and very tired w/pain that jumps all over also had 2 biopsies supporting st... I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! The next day my heart was racing and I started to hear music and talking that was not there. Then later that night I started seeing things that were not there! Horrible and very scarey. Yes! I have had the same thing, except it starts while I have the ring in. After about a week of having a new ring in, a twitch develops under my left eye and lasts until I take the ring out. I am going to bring this up with my doctor because this can't be good....
