I am a 42 year old woman who suffers with heavy periods and have done for most of my life! I recently started taking Norethisterone to help with my periods, which has helped. I suffer with anemia due to heavy periods, so regularly take Ferrous Sulphate, however this upsets my stomach and makes me feel ill, so I try and take the liquid form which combines Vit C with the Iron. I was given this medication once for my acne and it burned my face and i had redness and peeling on the spots in which i applied the medication, I stopped taking this medication due to these effects.

I was on Depo-Provera for 14 years, the first year I had occasional spotting for a period and then no period for 13 years. I take Zyflamend for prostate cancer. It has been thoroughly researched and is recommended and prescribed by Columbia University's School of Urology, and also by University of Texas. So far, prostate problems have decreased considerably and I will continue to take it. Any benefit as an anti-inflammatory is welcome but secondary.

I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls.
