There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. Agomelatine hasn't help my depression so far but will give it another month.I will probably go back to mianserin which has been effective in the past.

Excedrin is the only thing that cures my headaches as well. None of the three active ingredients work for me by themselves, but together they're magic. Wish I had tried it a long time ago...

During the spring and summer I use tincture of fresh Hawthorn leaves and flowers. During the winter I switch to the fresh berry tincture. My blood pressure used to be 140+/98+ on a pretty regular basis with occasional peaks up to 200/120. After a couple of months taking Hawthorn tincture my usual bp is below 120/80 (typically 117/ 76) with occasional spikes up to 150/94. My heart murmur has also disappeared and I rarely notice any irregular heart beats.

This doesn't work for me. I have marked that it raises my stress level because, like another poster, it stresses me out when I go hiking and I can't be sure I will live through an asthma emergency. Luckily Advair keeps me OK.

Metformin has done nothing for my diabetes, it really dries out my mouth. I have another Dr.'s appointment scheduled to try something else.
