I was on Femcon for several months. My skin became clear and beautiful. I had horrible cramps on other pills and hardly any cramps and a super light period on Femcon. I have fybromyalshia and often have headaches. I had less once I started this pill. I went off the pill 5 months ago trying to be healthy and thought maybe I would loose the 10 pounds I need to loose, but just went back on today because my skin was so bad and cramps were horrible. Advil is a great OTC medicine for minor pains like headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It has been effective for me while not producing any negative side effects. However, it may not work as well on more stronger and long-term pains.

With any antibiotic, it's good to stick with the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. Although I felt better in a few days, failure to take the pills until the end of the noted time caused the pain to return--that's how bacterial resistance develops!

Oracea has worked for me. While not completely gone, my rosacea is markedly improved. However, I have concluded that Oracea is probably also the source of my severe joint pain, muscle soreness and fatigue. When I get the flu, I usually try a few over the counter medicines before going to see the doctor. I've tried sudafed in the past and it works ok, but it usually makes me really drowsy. If it makes me too drowsy, I will usually switch to another cold/flu medication.
