Microgestin

I often have to switch my birth control because it doesn't always relieve my pain. Microgestin has been effective until recently. Just last month was a very heavy and painful period. I also had irregular bleeding 2 weeks before my usual period. I'm unsure if this is normal or a problem with Microgestin, but it will be discussed with my doctor. Either way, it was an uncomfortable month and quite inconvenient.

Lotrimin AF

I used lotrimin AF to treat two ringworm infections that I had. One was on my leg and the other on my arm. The one on my leg cleared up within two weeks. However, the one on my arm remained after treating it for 4 weeks. I eventually had to use a prescription cream to get rid of it. Lotrimin AF can be effective depending on the infection, but it takes time. It relieves the itch as well.

I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring. I liked the idea that it was more convenient than a pill, and that I could take it out at anytime unlike depo-provera where it is in your system for 3 months or longer. I have been taking Spiriva for many years. I have COPD even though I have never smoked. It worked well for me until recently....I am now 71....I have had many side effects, including urinary tract infections, severe constipation, depression, blurred vision, dry mouth. I have no other choice but stop taking this drug. I believe these side effects happen after taking for several years.
