I have palpations --was on a beta blocker toprol xl for 6years had meny problems on it.. put on verapamil 260mg did ok for a while, but get winded out of breath doing anything! my vision is blurred and eyes dry at night ? allergic or what ? doctor doesnt know? im tired all the time got no get up and go anymore - depressed alot ! just feel bad, not normal anymore - forgot what that is ? noticed hair thinning everywhere and some return of palps while on this medication - though now they ar... I'm not sure if Benicar is causing the problem, but not long after upping my dosage to 40.25, I started having pain in my right hip, now limping and can't walk far. If Benicar is cause, can't get off of it quick enough.

I am happy with it, don't get me wrong, but I just wish I wouldn't have become another person to not get panic attacks. I've gotten a really bad short term memory, and numb feelings. I get confused a lot too, not knowing what to chose, or what to do, periods like that, not really all the time.

I used this medication at nights, and when I had troubles trying to sleep due to my mind running and being anxious about the days ahead, it really helped me to slow down and get the rest that my body really needed. Although, it was a bit strange since it has side effects that might include hallucinations if I stayed awake for too long on it.

It is taking longer than I expected to reach the proper results. I also need to know if the patch can effect treatment for bronchitis or pneumonia, which I am currently being treated for.

Taken by a 16yo Lennox Gastaut patient. Seemed to increase partial seizures. Had 2 status seizures while on this med and began having Atonic seizures which she had not had in several years. Was very out of it and hardly sleeps. weaning this med now.
