I used to take claritin for allergies but once zyrtec was placed over the counter I started using it. I have allergies to animals, pollen, and other outdoor things and Zyrtec works for all of them. It also works much quicker than claritin so I can take it on an as needed basis- although during the spring and fall I normal have to take it every day. I relieves itchy water eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and prevents congestion. Its worked great and I would recommend it for allergies!

Please reconsider getting that third dose - it could cause much worse physical issues. Our daughter became disabled after the second dose.

I began running the end of January 2010 and my knee pain became worse and I began to experience intermal swelling that was noticable on the outside. I checked in with my orthopedic doctor, accupuncturist, natural path, physical therapist and my neurosurgeon with no relief. I've had sinus problems for over 30 years. Nose spray used to relieve stuffyness and no nose doctor could help with medications. Was taking perscription Alegra-D but it stopped working after a few months. Caritin-D 12 hr continues to work allowing me to get restful sleep at night.
