Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. Metformin (daily) along with diet and daily exercise helped me lose ~50 pounds of weight and bring down my blood sugars to about 100 +/-20 points in about 3 years, Now, I am off metformin and any other medication for diabetes, and control my blood sugar ~100 only with healthy diet and daily exercise.
