I'd never taken Femcon Fe before but I started it 2 months ago. It's made me moody, my periods are spotty and this week I developed extremely blurry vision. I'm seeing my obgyn next week to get a different prescription. All the symptoms seemed tolerable other than this horrible blurry vision. I used to take ortho-tri-cyclene lo and i LOVED it so i reccommend that to anyone who is shopping around.

I was originally prescribed pills that only contained 0.030 mg of synthetic estrogen for extremely painful cramps (and also hoped that they would help control some of my bad acne). I experienced some breast tenderness, and the acne hardly cleared as we had hoped. I was soon switched to MonoNessa, which has 0.035 mg of the estrogen in it, and I think it has worked wonderfully. It is very effective, like the other drugs I used to take for malaria. But whoever decides to take this drug should be ready to deal with the side effects which are fatigue, nausea, and sometimes diarrhea
