This drug is very expensive (approx $3 a pill/1000mG), and the side effects are horrible. Although they tend to diminish after 6-12 months, the itching and hot flashes are a sure sign from your body that something is wrong. Concentrated fish oils and other remedies work better, and will not destroy your body.

Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. Don't get ther anymore shots, the only thing that might happen is your doctor might become obnoxious. If that happens look for a new doctor. Gardasil almost killed my daughter go to the truthaboutgardasil.org and read her story. Also search vaers data base. Look of the 3 hpv vaccines they looped two of them apart. I guess so it doesn't show so many injuries.

I got poison ivy and used cortaid to alleviate the itch. It made it go away pretty fast and I was satisfied overall with it. In some of the open blisters it really burned.
