After being on this pill for only 6 months I had to get my hormone levels checked. Originally, my DHEA and DHEA sulfate levels were double what they were supposed to be, but after a couple months on this pill the levels were back in the normal range

When I first started this pill, I hated it. I was bleeding constantly and I had cramps and headaches. However, after about two months of use, I have short, light periods and little pms related symptoms. I think it is a great medication that really helped me quit after almost 30 years smoking. But the first step to be successful is to really want to quit and then Chantix will help with the effects of withdrawal. In my case the side effects were not strong enough to take me out of the path to reach my goal. It is worth it to try.

While Loestrin in an effective birth control method, for me and several friends of mine that have taken it have found that this pill makes you borderline insane. I was crying for no reason, angry for no reason.. Sometimes I would start to cry and not even I knew what was wrong with me.
