it was prescribed to me for eczema -- severe nausea and vomiting/dizziness followed by the worst skin rash i have had in my life. Not fun.

I don't feel jittery or nervous, or have heart palpitations like I got when I tried Albuterol. I felt HORRIBLE when I tried albuterol. It was like I was having a panic attack, or had to much caffiene. Xopenex doesn't do that. Plus, I got up a couple nights and used my inhaler and felt fine. I did the same w/ Albuterol neb and couldn't go back to sleep.

My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. Very effective against pain. Was taking 10/350 dosage and it was knocking me out at first. Downside is it's very addictive and it doesn't take long to get lulled into the addiction.

It took some time to adjust the medication. The initial dose was too high for me. I was crying, upset and had not motivation to be active. After the dose was lowered, my happiness returned but some of the pain as returned too.
